Discovering Opportunities and Navigating the Regulatory Landscape in Southeast Asia

On 24 April 2024 and 25 April 2024, Rajah & Tann Asia (“RTA“) organised side events during the IPBA Annual Meeting and Conference in Japan. The panel of experts from the RTA member firms shared their observations and insights on the latest regulatory developments and investment landscape in Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. They also shared their experiences in navigating the regulatory complexities of doing business across Southeast Asia.

The 24 April 2024 event was tailored for the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (“IPBA“) delegates. The panellists were Eko Basyuni (Assegaf Hamzah & Partners), Tracy Wong (Christopher & Lee Ong), Chester Toh (Rajah & Tann Myanmar), Ben Yap (C&G Law), Francis Xavier, SC, PBM, Yu Zheng and Joshua Seet (Rajah & Tann Singapore), Supawat Srirungruang (R&T Asia (Thailand)), and Logan Leung and Vu Thi Que (Rajah & Tann LCT Lawyers). Lim Wee Hann, Regional Head of Rajah & Tann Asia’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice, was the moderator.

The 24 April 2024 seminar was intended for corporate clients. Shuhei Otsuka, Head of Rajah & Tann Singapore’s Japan Desk, and Lim Wee Hann co-moderated the session.
